"I got more serious about art in 2020 when we were all in a really strict lock-down in Scotland. You were only allowed out of the house for 1 hour a day, which was a real struggle. Being a really outdoorsy person, I almost felt trapped.
I found myself turning to art and painting places that I'd rather be, like the beach or a city scape. It really helped me escape in a way, and also with my emotions. I almost internalise a lot of emotions and through art it really helps you channel that and get it out onto a piece. Painting and sketching through art comes of well in a piece and a lot of people can relate to it and the feel it in the art too."
